"This painting is an understudy for a new series of work coming out in 2026 where Bagilhole will be retracing his footsteps from his upbringing in rural north Wales. The painting features two of the recurring characters from his work, the boy being a male figure that has been featured in work repeatedly for 10 years and the white dog is a nod to his family dog bach home in Wales that also makes quite a frequent occurrence in the work."
