"In these two works, I wanted to create sensory pieces that held both the earth and the sky, connecting heaven and earth. In these two works, the micro is in touch: the grass on the fingertips, the water cupped in hands, while at the same time the sky, unfathomably large, is visible, be it through shadow or reflection. By connecting above and below in a single image, I wanted to examine the experience of daily living, what it means to feel the small every day while being connected to the rest of the sky and the world around us."
