My work exists in the subterranean spaces between memory, dreams, and imagination. There is an architecture that connects these territories- a collective subconscious realm of creativity, which I explore by way of symbolism and personal mythology. My process embraces the unknown, allowing each piece to evolve organically. The resulting work invites viewers to connect with their own imaginations, encouraging universal interpretations and the discovery of personal meaning.

Wade Asa creates art in the mountains just outside of Asheville NC, USA. For the past decade, he has shown his work in New York, Los Angeles, and regionally in Western North Carolina.

"Like much of my work, this piece began as a simple stream of consciousness sketch without any specific intention or meaning. In the completed piece I find universal elements of mythology and ritual, as well as my personal relationship with connection to nature. The story that you find here can be as simple or deep as you wish."

These are available as prints for a limited time only. We don't take a commission from our open-call prints, with 100% of the profits going directly to the artist.
